Landscaping around the house

Construction of the house and necessary excavations left piles of soil, rocks and debris, which needed to be moved or rearranged.

Major work began in the back yard to clear, level and smooth, to contour the area to improve drainage, to prepare for a lawn and generally to make it more attractive.

David worked in the front yard to level an area for a future orchard next to the garden and to improve drainage with a swale.
