Seeking clean, clear water

Back in May when we finally had running water we found that what we had wasn't clean, clear or refreshing. It appeared dirty, smelled foul and tasted acrid. So we continued to fill jugs from a neighbor's well and us their water for drinking and making coffee. Maura took white laundry to a commercial laundry.

We spent months having the water tested, trying to learn how to make it palatable. Six months later we hired a contractor to add suitable filtration.

And with our fingers crossed and thinking of a day with clean running water in the house, we cleared out the pump house items we had stored there.
