Up in the air!

We live in a residential airport (with a small runway ) for residents who own light planes - generally, single-engine, propeller-driven aircraft.

It was some time before anyone asked me if I would like to go up with them for a short flight, so I jumped at the opportunity in March to see a broader, higher view than I get with my drone. 

It was a lovely spring day - great visibility and balmy breezes, so it was a pleasant experience. We flew a 100-mile circle around our community, with a nice view of our neighborhood and Mount Rainier.
