Christmas blizzard
The snow began as Maura was in Tacoma visiting family. Suddenly, roads were icey and access up Indian Hill was limited to brave drivers in four-wheell-drive vehicles.
With the Priius snowbound in the driveway, I saw as snow and ice overwhelmed gutters, the railing of our deck and a tree or two. These was nothing I could do but clear the driveway from the fallen tree.
The poor condition of our storage barn added to the repairs necessary before we could put the house on the market. Thank goodness for the propane-fueled boiler that privided hot water, cooking, and central heating
