Hooking up the septic system

While the electricians were on site they connected the septic pump to electricity. Spring rains came and water collected in the low spot around the septic tanks, making quite a swamp. I ran a sump pump regularly to reduce the saturation.

When the septic installers arrived they dug a trench, connected the house's drainpipe to the tank and installed the aerator pump.

Luck wasn't with the operator of the excavator as he got stuck in the muck. and struggled for some time before he worked free.

Finally we were getting to landscaping, cutting the septic tank risers to size. Next to move some dirt around them!
