Fuel for the standby generator

Buying and installing the Generac whole-house standby generator had been completed long ago, but now that we are in the house it makes sense to bring in a propane tank and fill it with propane.

We talked with a couple of suppliers, but one never checked back. Actually we had asked Pacer Propane to come out and check out our site months before and hadn't heard anything from them.

But another call to them and we got some action. We arranged for installation of the tank with them.

They asked that we provide a suitable pad for the tank and a trench for the propane line between the tank and the generator. We obliged quickly - while in the travel trailer we had had a couple of outages so because we were in the house then we wanted to be able to use the generator as soon as we have another outage.

It was fun to watch the lone installer and see how proficient he was. So, now we are almost ready. (We still needed to activate the generator.) Each step in due time.
